Ella Butler

Ella Butler is a current Savannah College of Art and Design student at the Atlanta campus, pursuing a degree in 2D Animation. Since she was a child, she has used traditional art media including graphite, colored pencil, watercolor, acrylic paints, and eventually oils, charcoal, and both chalk and oil pastels to create expressive pieces with bright colors and unique compositions. In her adulthood, she has worked with various digital software such as Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects to pursue her love for animation and bring stories to life with the inspiration of her younger self. Her passion is to create dynamic pieces including elements of social justice to comment on the state of society and push for change in multiple spheres. As a female in modern society, she strongly believes in uplifting other women and assisting underrepresented peoples.
